This is a real lulu! Even though the plot was foiled, someone in the pharmaceutical industry was really thinking in a novel (!) way.
How about a book with a story line that would scare people off cheaper Canadian drugs for ever?

Parents of autistic children were quietly trying to man the booth they had reserved at the American Academy of Pediatrics Convention last week in Washington DC, when they were ordered to leave the building, even though they were registered to attend and one of them was a physician and another a nurse practitioner.
They planned to offer information on mercury-free vaccines to the doctors & other health care providers at the convention.
Surrounding the building on the outside was a large crowd of parents, many with their autistic children, demanding that pediatricians use safe vaccines without mercury and work for ways to help affected children..
