I can remember only too well how hard it was to grow up a tall girl 50 years ago! I was 5'10" by the time I was eleven, and spent much of my adolescence with my shoulders hunched, and being selected to "lead" at our school dance lessons.
Now, of course, tall girls can revel in it: their Mothers are better informed and able to support their doubts, and thoughts of basketball, or modelling, have their place.
Who now could imagine being medicated to stop this threatening height from becoming a reality??
