Take a pill - any pill - and get exactly the same results as you get with expensive anti-depressants.  Yes, that is correct:  the results with placebo differ only marginally from the results with SSRI's.

The authors of the study emphasize that other approaches to depression need to be developed, and also that people will need to be "de-briefed"from their misplaced expectations of help and relief - particularly where major depression is involved.
