The two types of liver cancer  - primary, where cancer actually starts in the liver, and secondary, where cancer starts elsewhere and spreads to the liver - together represent one of the most common malignancies in the world.  It is difficult to treat, and cures are rare.

It is therefore exceptionally good news that a link has been found between Omega 3 fatty acids, and not only prevention and growth of liver cancer, but treatment of this scourge.
